Kansas State rolls into December at 6-1, with two victories over top 25 opponents, a great learning experience in defeat to #1 Duke, and Jacob Pullen breaking the K-State school three-point record. And when thinking about the future of K-State basketball, you cannot help but be excited about the prospect of continued success of the program.

Adrian Diaz and Thomas Gipson have both already signed their letter of intents to attend Kansas State. Angel Rodriguez has verbally committed but will wait until the Spring and sign. Head coach Frank Martin has two likely transfers in Omari Lawrence and Willie Reed set to join the basketball team, however his work on the recruiting trail is not complete.

According to reports, Todd Mayo, the younger brother of Memphis Grizzlies star O.J. Mayo, has interest in K-State. After trimming his list down to three in April, Mayo has opened his recruitment back up and the Wildcats could be suitors for the combo-guard.

Mayo stands at 6’4” and could be a great offensive threat for the Wildcats. He has the ability to fire the deep ball consistently and proficiently.

The Notre Dame Prep prospect does not currently have an offer from Kansas State, but the Wildcats basketball program has caught his eye. Mayo’s list consist of Baylor, Kansas, Kent State, Marquette, Memphis and UNLV. Mayo is a young guy to keep an eye on over the next couple of months, as interest in the guard will continue to rise.
